The following are the full-time programs offered:
• Filmmaking:
Core studies and specialization in screenwriting, directing, cinematography and post-production.
• Animation:
Core areas: 2D & 3D animation, character animation, stop motion, drawing techniques, After Effects, Maya, ZBrush and Vue, animation theory and history.
• Documentary Film:
Conceptualization, visualization, pitching, pre-production, production, camera, lighting, sound, editing, documentary genres, history and theory, documentary production management, fund raising and distribution.
• Acting for Film:
Voice and physical training, scene work, film craft, Meisner technique and image-based acting, portfolio building and film production work.
Prague Film School programs are decidedly fast-track. The school's overriding philosophy is to integrate theory and practice so students acquire the intellectual and technical skills to make quality films. The school aims to promote artistic creativity while instructing industry craft skills.
